The State of the Election - When in Doubt Indict and Divide
The Democrats have chosen their campaign strategy. Don't fall for it.
We have survived the most predictable and boring Super Tuesday ever. With the candidates all but settled eight months before the election, we now proceed into the longest election season in my lifetime.
Although many are bemoaning the rematch between Trump and Biden, I predict that the 2024 election will look wildly different from 2020.
Yes, the usual players will do their best to influence the election, and the media will begrudgingly follow Biden, pushing fear of the potential end to democracy if Trump wins, but this time around, our legal system is also at work. Then there is the independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
Although much of the media wants you to forget about RFK, Jr., I do not doubt that he will significantly affect this election. Although it is unlikely he will win, he could upend the election by preventing either candidate from reaching 270 electoral votes and pushing it into a Contingent Election. This would involve the House of Representatives selecting a president and the Senate selecting a vice president. We must wait until election day to see what happens, but my friend
breaks down how a Contingent Election could pan out.Now that we are post-Super Tuesday and tonight is the State of the Union, I want to focus on the "State of the Election" thus far and pontificate on what we can expect over the next eight months as the Democrats and the media do their absolute best to prevent Trump from returning to the presidency.
