Thanks for the write up Meseidy! I was blown away to read that 1 in 8 gets some form of SNAP benefit. And then seeing that so many aren't even citizens. I don't believe there is anything wrong with food stamps as a safety net when needed. We got food stamps for a few months when my dad was between jobs in the 70s due to strikes. But WHY is our country so dependent on the government? Because that's what the government started to want about 70 years ago.
