About It’s Meseidy
My content creation journey started when I was newly married and I decided to start a food blog just to keep a diary of my cooking as a newlywed. That was 2008 if you can believe it before the term “influencer” became part of our everyday lexicon. The food blogging journey opened up some amazing opportunities and friendships but my first love continued to pull at me.
For as long as I can remember I have loved news, history, politics, and research. Before I fell into the food blogging world my undergrad was in legal studies. I had plans to go to law school and worked in the legal field for 10 years.
I have always been curious and had a deep desire to be informed and answer questions. My friends are always turning to me to provide a quick breakdown of what is happening in the news, politics, and culture. I figured I would save myself some time and text messages and created ‘Its Meseidy.’
It has always been important to me to be informed and to help others understand what is happening in the world. Most importantly, I want to know the truth not what I am told is the truth.
Meet Meseidy
Meseidy is happily married to her husband, Obed. She is a business owner, has three dogs and one cat, and happily makes her home with her husband in Tennessee. She grew up as an Air Force brat, living on multiple US military facilities until her family returned to their home in Puerto Rico. Meseidy is passionate about knowledge, self-reliance, and freedom and is not afraid to speak boldly to defend them.
While she does not have children and is unable to have them, she recognizes the importance of raising the next generation and supporting women in raising strong children who are independent-minded critical thinkers.
This is why Meseidy created ‘It’s Meseidy"‘ to share information and help keep women informed without getting overwhelmed.
