I slow down viral news and break apart the narratives shaping your feed.
I read across left- and right-leaning outlets, legislation, and primary sources to expose what’s framed, buried, or omitted — so you can understand what actually happened and respond with confidence.
For people who don’t have time to read everything, but don’t want to be misled by headlines.

What It’s Meseidy does
The modern news cycle doesn’t give you time to think.
Stories go viral first.
Facts catch up later.
Narratives harden before most people have a chance to slow down and decide what they actually believe.
It’s Meseidy exists to interrupt that process.
I slow the news cycle down, compare how the same story is reported across ideological lines, and dig into original sources — including legislation, studies, court documents, and transcripts — to surface what’s missing or misrepresented.
In short: I do the reading, cross-checking, and decoding so you don’t have to.
Between the Lines
Between the Lines is a recurring breakdown where I analyze and annotate:
news coverage
viral videos and moments
legislation and policy claims
common talking points
to show how narratives are constructed, what’s omitted, and what readers need to know before a story hardens.
Some editions are free. Full annotated analysis and visual breakdowns are reserved for paid subscribers.
Why this matters
Most people encounter the news through clips, headlines, and emotionally charged moments designed to provoke reaction — not understanding.
This Substack is for people who want context without panic, clarity without spin, and confidence without spending hours reading the news.
No outrage farming.
No partisan posturing.
Just receipts, framing analysis, and clear judgment.
About me
Before writing publicly, I spent over a decade working in the legal field, with an academic background in legal studies. That training shaped how I read — carefully, skeptically, and with attention to what’s said and what isn’t.
This Substack started because people kept coming to me with the same question:
“This story feels off — can you explain it?”
I live in Tennessee with my husband and care deeply about independent thinking, self-reliance, and personal freedom — especially helping women stay informed without carrying the mental load alone.
