The Media's Savage Bloodbath on the Truth
Unpacking the media's desperate attempts to control the narrative through selective reporting and outright falsehoods.
You would think that after repeatedly being exposed as manipulators of truth and outright liars again and again, the Democrats and the media, who have ruined its reputation for constantly carrying water for the Democrats, would learn a lesson or, at the minimum, get better at lying.
Spoiler alert! They haven't.
Rally in the Buckeye State
On Saturday, Trump held a rally in Dayton, Ohio, at the "Buckeye Values PAC Rally." The rally was held at an airfield in Ohio where Trump made his entrance descending from his Trump plane to the song "I am proud to be an American."
Once Trump arrived on stage, a booming voice reminiscent of the fight announcer asked, "Are you ready to rumble?" before every fight asks the audience to rise for of called for the audience to rise for "the horribly and unfairly treated January 6 hostages."
This is the cue to rise for the star-spangled banner, which begins to play. However, each verse is interrupted by a recording of Trump reciting the pledge of allegiance.
The song, intermingled with Trump's voice, booms over the audience speckled with red hats and American flags. Once the star-spangled banner ends, a recording leads the crowd in a chat of U.S.A - U.S.A.
It’s quite the production.
Trump goes head-on into one of his on-brand, rambling speeches dotted with hyperbolic statements.
While this production makes my eyes roll, it makes the left seeth. And in their desperation to keep Trump out of the White House, they removed all context to Trump’s statement in their headlines, manipulating the truth and literally peddling misinformation.

It was a "Bloodbath"
Thirty minutes into the speech, Trump begins talking about the auto industry and how much U.S. auto manufacturing has moved to Mexico or China.
In this part of the speech, the media and the Biden-Harris Campaign focus on just one sentence, taken entirely out of context, to instill fear of a Trump presidency in Americans.
"China now is building a couple of massive plants where they’re going to build the cars in Mexico and think, they think, that they’re going to sell those cars into the United States with no tax at the border," Trump said.
"Let me tell you something to China, if you’re listening President Xi, and you and I are friends, but he understands the way I deal," he continued. "Those big monster car manufacturing plants that you’re building in Mexico right now and you think you’re going to get that, you’re going to not hire Americans and you’re going to sell the cars to us?"
Trump added, "No. We’re going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not going be able to sell those cars. If I get elected. Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it." Trump then continued talking about cars and factories.
Can you guess what part of that the media and Biden-Harris campaign latched on to?
If you guessed, "If I get elected. Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it."
Less than three hours following the rally, the official X rapid response page of the Biden-Harris campaign posted the following.
It didn't take long for all the mainstream media outlets to get the memo and follow suit.
By Saturday evening, my X feed was beginning to fill with the mainstream media headlines highlighting how Trump says there will be a "bloodbath" if he loses the election.
And the leftist pundits and social media influencers weren’t about to drop the ball on the hivemind messaging.
By Sunday morning, Nancy Pelosi was on CNN asking if Trump meant that he was going to "exact a bloodbath." She follows with, "How respectful I am of the American people and their goodness, but how much more do they have to see from him to understand that this isn’t what our country is about?" To then suggest that Trump has a history of praising Hitler and Putin.
She holds so much respect for the American people she lies to their faces on national television and stokes fear in a desperate effort to ensure that Democrats maintain control of the White House.
If the message didn’t reach you online or on Sunday morning, ABC Nightly News opened Sunday night’s episode with the Trump “bloodbath” story.
The Manipulation Runs Deep
The media and the Democrats are betting on the odds that you will only scroll on social media and the message of how dangerous and potentially violent Trump is will get delivered.
But just in case you click on that link to read the article, they carefully walk the line of stating facts but still avoiding full context and continuing to guide you to the conclusion that Trump is a threat, not just to democracy but possibly to your physical well-being.
Let's analyze some articles.
CBS News was one of the first outlets to report on the threat of a potential "bloodbath" if Trump did not win in 2024.
The article opens with Trump’s warning of a "bloodbath" if he loses in November.
Four short paragraphs later, they include the quote again with little context. They mention that he made this statement while "talking about the impact of offshoring on the country’s auto industry." However, they don't clarify that the U.S. auto industry would face a "bloodbath" from the severe harm caused by offshoring.
And just in case the reader does not get the message, they follow it up with a reminder from Biden presidential campaign spokesperson James Singer, saying that Trump "wants another January 6."
Then, for some bizarre reason, "bloodbath" becomes "bloodshed" when they reached out to the Trump campaign for comment.
Politico follows a similar strategy, opening with Trump’s warning of a bloodbath. Except they play stupid saying, “While it was unclear what the former president meant exactly, the remarks came as Trump was complaining about the automobile industry.”
The Manipulation Does Not Stop
As the media pushed the "bloodbath" hoax and was getting called out on their lies, they added tacked on another lie.
I began noticing headlines saying that Trump said migrants are "not people." Yet again, pulling a quote from Saturday’s rally out of context.
The NYTimes made the editorial decision to open with how Trump dehumanized all migrants before it made mention of Trump’s "bloodbath" warning.
They then move on to gaslighting the reader about the illegal immigration issue. First, notice that throughout the article, they use the term migrants when what Trump is discussing is illegal immigration, not migrant or immigration as a whole.
Still speaking about migrants, not illegals, they pull in Trump’s quote.
"I don’t know if you call them ‘people’ in some cases," he said. "They’re not people, in my opinion." He later referred to them as "animals."
And then proceed to make a defense of how most "migrants" are here fleeing violence and poverty. Let’s not mention the sex and drug trafficking that comes along with illegal immigration.
However, if you watch Trump’s speech in context, you know that those “young people” he is addressing are extremely violent MS13 gang members.
But just in case, you are beginning to see the light and realize that the media is manipulating you and spreading disinformation. The NYTimes published an article about how Trump’s allies are willing to wage a war over disinformation.
The article laments how it has become more challenging to censor individuals —Conservatives — to limit disinformation — facts that don’t benefit the left—and protect democracy.
In other words, unfortunately, they can no longer control the "disinformation" that the right spreads, so nothing that comes out of their mouth can be trusted.
Getting Fact Checked
The Biden-Harris campaign triggered the psyop, and the mainstream media and its Democrat pundits feel right in line. Was it coordinated? Did the campaign send out a memo? Or did the media just follow the campaign's lead like mindless lemmings? Maybe a little bit of all the above.
They do this again and again. Grasping onto one word or phrase to spew it out to the general public completely deformed and unrecognizable from its original meaning.
However, this strategy becomes more difficult because they lament they no longer have full control of all the media and social media platforms. These false narratives can be challenged and fact-checked in real time thanks to smaller news outlets, independent journalists, and X.
Shortly after the Biden-Harris campaign posted on X, other users started posting the video with added context to expose the media’s manipulation. Elon Musk also shared the video, reaching his 177.3 million followers, along with several other posts that highlighted the lie.
The best was watching Democrat pundit accounts bet community notes on their posts, and the Biden-Harris received a reply with the definition of bloodbath, which includes “a major economic disaster.”
Then came the sucker punch. A compilation video of all of the mainstream media news and their pundits repeatedly using the term “bloodbath.”
Watching the media and the Biden-Harris campaign be fact-checked so quickly was somewhat cathartic after so many years of seeing the media’s lies spread while challenges to their lies were throttled and censored. Although there are many people who are not on X or perpetually online like me to see the media’s lies exposed in real-time, more people are starting to realize that they're being misled.
People are much more open to the truth today than they were four years ago, so if you have an opportunity to expose them, send them this article.
Conclusion
The well-worn playbook of the Democrats and their cronies in the media—rife with lies, censorship, and manipulation—has hit a snag. It's no longer business as usual in the arena of public discourse. Thanks to platforms like X, the days of unchecked narrative control are declining.
This newfound challenge to their dominance comes not a moment too soon, as their desperation to maintain a stranglehold over the White House—and, by extension, the American mind—has led them down a path of increasingly bold distortions of reality.
Their current scheme? A series of desperate moves, epitomized by the flagrant misrepresentation of quotes ripped from their context, all to stoke fear among an electorate they hope won't bother to look beyond the headlines.
This strategy, while grossly manipulative, is sadly nothing new; it's the same old song and dance of those who find themselves with an unpopular, senile candidate and a narrative too fragile to withstand scrutiny.
But let's call it what it is: a panic move by a political machine running out of steam. Their scare tactics and spreading false information reveal a fear of a public that can think critically and will no longer be manipulated.
Fortunately, the tide is turning. Platforms like X are game-changers, offering a haven for those weary of the censorship and bias that have plagued social media platforms for far too long.
The irony of the situation is real. After years of decrying "disinformation" and championing the cause of "truth," the Democrats and their media allies are being unmasked as the very deliverers of falsehoods they claim to oppose.
As this election cycle heats up, let's not be fooled by the smoke and mirrors. The attempts to manipulate public opinion through fear and misinformation will undoubtedly continue, but their effectiveness is weakening.
The emergence of platforms like X and Substack is a testament to the need for a more honest and open discourse, free from censorship and bias.
The truth is out there, and it's more accessible than ever. We must cut through the noise, challenge the lies, and hold those who seek to deceive us accountable.
