The Epstein-Intelligence Connection - Part 4 | Unveiling the Epstein Honeytrap Theory
Exploring the history of the intelligence tradecraft of honeytraps and how it parallels Epstein's life
In part three, we introduced Ari Ben-Menashe, who claims to have been a Mossad handler for Robert Maxwell. Following Maxwell's death, his daughter Ghislaine allegedly took on some of her father’s connections, fueling speculation that she, alongside Jeffrey Epstein, orchestrated a honeytrap blackmail operation targeting politicians and influential individuals, purportedly for Israel's Mossad.
In this upcoming chapter, we're going to delve into the intriguing past of spy agencies utilizing 'honeytrap' strategies. We'll juxtapose these methods with the known actions of Epstein and Maxwell, which will ultimately assist us in figuring out whether they might have been orchestrating their own honeytrap operation.
Intelligence Agencies Honeytrap Operations
Honeytrap operations, or honeypots as they're sometimes called, are a controversial topic when we talk about espionage. Think of them as the secret service's version of a bad breakup, where one person uses their charm to get secrets out of the other. This trick has been around for ages, specifically during World War II and the Cold War. This tradecraft is when an agent uses romance or the promise of it to get close to someone, earn their trust, and then gather information. Sometimes, though, this strategy can take a darker turn, like when an agent tricks someone into a compromising situation to blackmail them later.
U.S. Intelligence Agencies
When it comes to U.S. intelligence agencies like the CIA and FBI using these tactics gets a bit murky. The conversation around whether it's right or wrong to use honeytraps is complex, and these agencies aren't exactly open about whether they use them. But, if we look back through history and listen to the rumors, it seems pretty clear that both agencies have dabbled in these shadowy tactics at some point.
