The Cultist's Digest - Why Are Young Women Radicalizing?
A digest for the cult of free thought

Welcome to The Cultist’s Digest
Because questioning the mainstream apparently makes me a cultist. Wink.
Welcome to this edition of The Cultists Digest! While everyone else is busy wringing their hands over the latest TikTok dance craze or which politician looked vaguely constipated during a press conference, I've been wading through the information swamp to find content that actually matters.
Because let's be honest—most of what passes for "news" these days is just algorithmic chum designed to keep us angry, anxious, or absurdly distracted. So I've curated some stories and analyses that might actually help make sense of our increasingly nonsensical world.
From Trump's mind-boggling comeback to the rise of "Dark Woke" (which is apparently a thing now), to that existential question we're all secretly asking but afraid to voice aloud: are we actually in a soft civil war?
So pour yourself something strong and let's dive in. It's going to be a bumpy ride.
"We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them."

Tulsi Gabbard on Investigating Leaks, Fighting the Deep State
In a candid sit-down with Megyn Kelly, National Intellegence Director Tulsi Gabbard opened up about her dedicated efforts to transform the intelligence community, placing a strong emphasis on transparency and accountability. She expressed a deep commitment to seeking the truth, whether it involves tackling leaks or delving into the potential links between gain-of-function research and the origins of COVID. Gabbard also acknowledged the considerable pushback she’s encountered from what she refers to as the "deep state," yet she remains resolute in her mission. Looking to the future, she hinted at keeping her options open regarding her political path beyond 2028.
'I Run the Country and the World' (The Atlantic)
The Atlantic (yes, that Atlantic of Signal-gate fame) delivers a surprisingly non-scathing profile of Trump's remarkable comeback. The piece highlights how Trump, once considered politically dead after January 6th—banned from social media platforms, abandoned by corporate donors and allies—engineered an improbable return to power. What's most fascinating is the behind-the-scenes account of how this interview came to be, with Trump initially attacking the writers by name on Truth Social but later agreeing to speak with them. At one point, Trump told the reporters, "The first time, I had two things to do—run the country and survive; I had all these crooked guys. And the second time, I run the country and the world." Classic Trump—somehow both megalomaniacal and refreshingly candid in the same breath.
